Why do we kill people who are killing people to show that killing people is wrong? Hmm…certainly, the murder of civilians for political statement did not begin with 911… I have killed – in self defense. The first time my greatest fear was not of being killed, but having to kill someone else. Then I got used to it…

A policeman-friend, who has seen way too many butchered corpses, exhaled a puff of cigar smoke through a mischievous smile as he plaintively lamented that killings in Philadelphia were down this year.  “I hope they pick up,” said the Crime … Continue reading

On July 4th we celebrate independence. Among other matters we detested being taxed without representation. Unfortunately, 237 years later we are being taxed with mis-representation. Those in authority eat up too much in taxes. And we-duh-people are starving for our independence — again…

The following thought – even though it has little directly to do with U.S. Sen. John McCain — is not anymore flawed, than the former Presidential candidate’s problematic military, marriage and métier record. Hmm…this could prove interesting…So follow me here: … Continue reading

Everywhere except America they are storming the Bastille. Or charging like the Light Brigade into City Halls. What is it going to take to get our obese butts off the Barcaloungers parked in front of 900 channels to nowhere? For me, it was a trip to the supermarket…

I can’t even go to my local supermarket without getting totally exasperated. About most everything. Maybe I need anger management. You think? I mean that’s what my last future-ex-wife contended in court. But soon the judge and Assistant DA had … Continue reading

A guy wins the $338 million Power Ball, but ends up with only 45 percent of the pot…Indeed, that’s a government hallucination – like a beautiful woman at 2AM turning out to be a transvestite with too much man-handle… Illusion is the first of all pleasures, but disillusionment heralds enlightenment…

Maybe it was that guy in New Jersey recently winning the $338 million Power Ball lottery — but then only receiving 45%, or $152 million, in the payout. That is, after the government and the state took their alligator bites, … Continue reading

Over $2 billion was spent to sell us a President for the next four years. Yet Congress, corporations and Wall Street won’t even spend the time to hear that money can’t buy you love. Hell, most of those guys couldn’t even get laid in a whorehouse with a fistful of fiftys…

I had just voted. And I didn’t know whether to feel a little satisfied or a lot frightened. All I knew is that the choice had never been as difficult as it was this time. Nor as meaningless once again. … Continue reading

After nearly 90 days our uncivil government hasn’t managed to replace my stolen passport. Indeed government and hell is other people. And we get the government we deserve — for duh people…by duh people…and of duh (in)civil servants…

I deserve a Purple Heart medal. I have been mortally wounded in combat…Please, someone call a Medic. The woman I was passed along to was the supervisor – the head, the chief, the authority in charge, she said, of ‘the … Continue reading

We come into the world with nothing and when we leave we have nothing. In between there’s a lot of stoopid people robbing, pillaging, stealing and misspending our tax dollars…And boy, do I feel stoopid.

I don’t understand a great deal when it comes to money. Especially taxes. And obviously I am not alone. Even Einstein once uttered that the hardest thing in the world to understand is income taxes. With me, it’s just about … Continue reading
